Information we use

Your account

We process information needed to create and manage your account. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide your email address.

Content you provide

We store content you choose to add to the app and information created through your use of its features. This allows us to provide pet-care and household-sharing features.

Purchases and communications

We receive information from Apple needed to confirm and manage your subscription. Apple handles your payment details, and we do not receive them. We also process information you submit when requesting features or contacting support.

Service operation

We process limited technical information about the app, device, and connection when needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the app and its supporting services.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the app is used and to improve its reliability and features. PostHog processes limited usage and technical information on our behalf, which may include an IP address and approximate region. This information is stored in PostHog US Cloud. See the PostHog Privacy Policy for more information about PostHog's practices.

We do not use PostHog for advertising, cross-app tracking, or session replay, and we do not intentionally send it content you add to the app.

How we use your information

We use personal information only as needed to:

  • Provide and maintain the app, its features, and customer support.
  • Understand app usage, improve reliability, fix problems, and protect the service from misuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our users and rights.

We process this information to provide the service you request, pursue our legitimate interests in improving and securing the app, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Sharing your information

We share information only when needed to provide the app or meet legal obligations:

  • People you choose to share with can see content available to members of a shared household.
  • Content submitted as a feature request may be visible to other app users, but your account identity is not displayed with it.

  • Apple processes information when you use Apple services such as Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and notifications.

We do not sell personal data, show third-party advertising, or share app data for targeted advertising.

Where information is stored

App data and PostHog analytics are stored in the United States. If you use the app from another country, your information may be transferred to the United States, where privacy laws may differ.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards and the international-transfer terms provided by our service providers.

Data retention

We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the app, support its users, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

When you delete content or your account, we delete or de-identify the related information unless it must be retained for a valid reason.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

You can edit or delete app content and delete your account from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.

Age requirement

The app is intended for people aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. The latest version will show its last-modified date, and we will provide additional notice when required.
